JETS FLY TO 0-6

- Tom Mele, Contributor

LONDON:   This performance by the Denver Broncos and NY Jets was not worthy of a King and Queen and it could bring back executions (no, not really) if the NFL continues to send the Jets overseas.

The Broncos defeated the Jets 13-11 in a game that should not have been that close.  QB Justin Fields set a franchise record with minus 10 yards passing going  9-17 from the field for 45 yards passing but a negative 55 yards as a result of 9 sacks by the Broncos top rated defense was the difference. Conservative play calling and offensive line breakdowns appears from the outside to be the culprit.  Star WR Garrett Wilson finished with only 3 catches for 13 yards and had some choice words to Head Coach Aaron Glenn during halftime, which Glenn attributed to Wilson's competitive nature.

Still the Jets had a chance to come away with their first win as they tried to get into field goal range at the end of the game, but Fields was sacked (surprise) on 4th down.

For the game both teams were lackluster as Denver managed 12 first downs and the Jets had only 8.   Total yards were in favor of the Broncos overall 246-82.

Denver improves to 4-2 and the Jets are the last winless team in the NFL at 0-6.

Adding insult to Injury WR Garrett Wilson is scheduled for an MRI back in NJ as he suffered an injury to his knee ligaments.

The Jets Host the Carolina Panther next week who are coming off a 30-27 win over the Dallas Cowboys.  See you on the BCP+ next week
