HOUSTON, YOU HAD A PROBLEM:
RAVENS DEFEAT TEXANS IN NFL PLAYOFFS

Wayne Keehner, Contributor

There exists this debate in playoff football: "Rest over Rust?" Is it beneficial for a team to have a first round bye? Or, is it best to continue having real speed playing time and momentum?

The first half of Saturday's game was a huge argument for why the bye week can hurt a team. The Ravens offense came out flat. Not able to successfully move the ball on the ground or in the air. Thier Defense however, was like Toni Storm... Timeless! Holding a young and explosive Texans offense to only 3 points total. (The lone TD came on a punt return in the first half.)

What was said in the locker room at half time? We may never know. Lamar only said in the press conference, "I can't repeat any of that here, with all the cameras."

Ravens came out the second half with a new energy. Lamar finished with 250 all purpose yards and 4 TDs (2 rushing and 2 passing!) On the way to what was eventually a decisive 34 - 10 victory.

Next Week Taylor and Jason... wait... I mean Patrick and Travis lead their Chiefs into Baltimore. And you can bet we have some "Bad Blood" as the Chiefs lead the all time series 7-5. This Ravens Defense is something special and we will see if after next Sunday we will get "Superbowl: Ravens Version!" Should be an absolute banger at M&T Bank!

Until next time, Stay safe and Go Ravens!
