YAZ'S NFL TOP 10 WEEK 16

-Tyler Yasembousky, Contributor

The top 10 Ranking are in. Here's my top ten NFL teams after week 16:

1. Baltimore Ravens (12-3)- Lamar Jackson stated his case as the league MVP in the blowout against the 49ers. The defense also came up big against a good offense. They are the top team in the NFL ! We could be seeing Lamar win his second MVP and first Super Bowl this season.

2. Miami Dolphins (11-4) - They are in the playoffs with their late rally against Dallas. They need to win at Baltimore this week to win the division. This team has a lot of potential. But can they live up to it ?

3. San Francisco 49ers (11-4) - despite losing, this team is still the best in the NFC in my opinion. Brock Purdy suddenly looked like a player taken last in the draft against the Ravens. The defense got gutted as well, which is a bad look heading to the playoffs immediately.

4. Buffalo Bills (9-6) - They didn't look great against the Chargers, but they found a way late. They have worked themselves back into being a playoff team right now.

5. Detroit Lions (11-4) - They have won a division for the first time since 1993. They won the NFC North for the first time ever. They can now get ready for the playoffs, but they need to tighten up that defense.

6. Philadelphia Eagles (11-4) - They just don't look right, even when they win a game like they did against the Giants. There is some thing up with this Eagles team…

7. Cleveland browns (10-5) - Joe Flacco has to be one of the surprise stories of the year. This team is legitimate as a potential deep playoff team.

8. Dallas Cowboys (10-5) - They have lost two straight to basically end their hopes of winning the division. So now it's time to get ready for the playoffs.

9. Kansas City Chiefs (9-6) - Oh how the mighty have fallen ! They have major offensive issues right now. They can't protect Patrick Mahomes and they don't scare down the field. They have BIG problems.

 10. Los Angeles Rams (8-7) - It's hard to believe they are in the position they are in terms of the playoff race. Sean McVay can flat out coach. It’s 16 weeks into the season and we have a couple games of football left to be played…

Who’s in your top 10 this week ?
