"LAMAR YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?"

This Sunday was just another example of the AFC North doing AFC North things! Two Gladiators took the field in Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. 

 

Apparently both teams decided to leave their defenses at home as they combined for 79 points on 962 yards!! Burrow threw for 5 TDs while Lamar threw for 4, including an absolute improbable fumbled snap scramble drill to Likely in the back of the endzone.

With the Cowboys beating the Steelers, that puts the Ravens technically in first place in the division since we have the only AFC North win so far.

As anyone can see, the Ravens secondary is being scorched. They have given up the most receiving yards through the first 5 games at 1,520 yards! Whether that falls on Orr, our DC, or just execution of our personnel remains to be seen. 

​

We need to figure it out this week because we face a very formidable opponent in the Commanders. Most experts are already comparing the rookie QB, Daniels to Lamar with his explosive playmaker abilities with both his arm and his feet! With star WR "Scary" Terry McLaurin, the Ravens almost non existent secondary could be in for another long day!

Will Lamar-velous have that winning magic yet again this week? Will Tucker continue to be clutch in the face of pressure? Will I finally decide to not start Andrews in my fantasy league? The answers to all that and more, in week 6!!
