The promos on both SmackDown and Raw have been absolute FIRE. I don’t think anyone can touch CM Punk and Roman Reign’s battle on the mic in Philly, but the work on the stick across the board has been noticeably better on this Road to WrestleMania. Great stuff from WWE Champ Drew McIntyre, and Cody “Raheem” Rhodes. 

 

Despite Roman Reigns fire promo, WWE has released his Road to WrestleMania schedule with the Tribal Chief only appearing at FIVE Monday Night Raws until WrestleMania and nothing at the Elimination Chamber or SmackDown. Roman is so darn good and amazing on the mic, that selfishly, I’m over this part time schedule stuff and want to see him every week. Assuming all is well with his health now, give us MORE of the Tribal Chief. 

 

With NXT’s men’s division in a state of flux after the departure of three HUGE stars in Trick Williams, Oba Femi, and Je’Von Evans, it’s time to see who is going to step up. Joe Hendry is a smart choice as the new champion, as he has the fans behind, and oozes babyface charisma. As we’ve seen with Joe’s TNA World Championship run, he takes a lot of pride in being the face of his respective brand when called upon. With one title defense already out of the way, Joe is showing that he is willing to carry the load. 

 

Liv’s segment with Stephanie Vaquer and Dom was fantastic, but it’s time to pick an opponent for WrestleMania. The stakes are clear for the men’s Elimination Chamber but now it’s time for the women to know exactly WHAT they are competing for on February 28th in Chicago. 

 

The “Depressed” Johnny Gargano isn’t only an incredible meme, but a very interesting wrinkle in the story of Johnny Wrestling. Do we finally get a babyface Gargano again? Will he be back in the singles division? Even AEW’s Tomasso Ciampa is commenting on the matter on social media. I am eagerly awaiting more in hopes that Gargano finally gets the babyface underdog push he so deserves.
