JETS LOSE AGAIN

Miami FL -I didn't get to see the JETS game on Sunday, literally, but with the help of the many suffering Jets fans I can vouch that the JETS lost again on Sunday. This time in OT. 32-26 to the Miami Dolphins who increased their record to 6-7 on the season in winning their 9th straight game over the Jets in Miami.
Super Fan John Emmolo felt better about the offensive line this week for Gang Green. Last week versus Seattle, Emmolo stated Aaron Rodgers had no time to throw the ball while QB Geno Smith was making a sandwich while dropping back.

Rodgers was 27 for 39 for 339 yards ending a drought of 34 regular season games without a 300-yard day. (Last time Dec 12, 2021). Rodgers threw a TD pass to Davante Adams who had 9 catches for 109 yards. The TD pass was the 79th together as they passed Pittsburgh's Ben Rothlisberger and WR Antonio Brown for 4th most in NFL history.
Awesome Amy was happy with Adams performance but questioned why he didn't stay in bounds late in the game as Gang Green was trying to run out the clock and kick a last second field goal. Instead, Adams was declared out of bounds by the ref, a call which typically the refs don't call unless the momentum is clear they are stepping out. This allowed the Dolphins, who had no timeouts, 40 seconds left to drive the field and get their own field goal and the end of regulation to tie the game at 26.
Jets super fan Mike Mania was not surprised at the result and was upset that the Jets don't have a better record than last year when Zach Wilson was QB. He was also upset to hear Sam Darnold was busy throwing for five TD passes in another Vikings win.
The Jets are out of the playoffs for the 14th straight season, and this beat writer for the BCP + did not see this coming.
At 3-10 the Jets will have one of the higher draft selections in April and already the wheels are turning as to where they should go with the first pick. Guest writer from last week Brent Struble will have some ideas along with more history on the folly of the NY Jets in the weeks to come.
Special thanks to everyone for their thoughts and well wishes to me.
