EAGLES MAKE CHANGE AT DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Late Sunday afternoon , the Philadelpha Eagles quietly (well they attempted to be quiet but the NFL duh) made a change a defensive coordinator after 2 lackluster performances by the defense in the last 14 days vs San Francisco & Dallas respectively. 

Senior Defensive Assistant Matt Patricia has replaced Sean Desai as Defensive Coordinator & will be calling the plays on the field on Monday Night vs Seattle in what needs to be a season saving performance out of the Philadelphia defensive unit. Desai will be staying with the team as an assistant coach.

This comes after the Eagles defense has been on the receiving end of two bad losses to teams they will most certainly have to contend with in the playoffs if this team is going to make some real noise this post season.

With safety Reed Blankenship out with a concussion & Zach Cunningham and SLAY both banged up , the Eagles are looking for a spark to keep their playoff hopes alive, the front office (& most of the fanbase) are hoping Patricia can provide. Let's not worry about that time Nick Foles hung 41 on Matt Patricia's defense that one time in Minnesota, it's A New Day , Yes it is.
