BATTLE CAMP RISES TO THE CHALLENGE ON NETFLIX
-- Wayne Keehner, Contributor
As a huge MTV: Challenge fan I was a bit skeptical at first to check out what many online are referring to as "The Challenge from Wish." After binging all 10 episodes of the season, nothing could be further from the truth.

While "The Challenge" relys on relationship building, alliances and back stabbing to ultimately decide an elimination via head to head combat, Battle Camp requires those same things except the person that leaves every week comes down to a random wheel spin with 18 spots that could potentially have anyone leave on any given night. Based on losing challenges, punishments and votes from fellow campers decides how many times you appear on the wheel.
I will admit that I am not familiar with any of the cast as I do not watch any of the shows that they come from. If you are a fan of Cheer, The Circle, Selling the OC, Too hot to handle or Squid Game: The Challenge (which I have watched) then you will absolutely love this show and this cast.
There are some crazy, jaw dropping moments like a person on the wheel just once out of the 18 spots going home on the random spin as well as the punishment challenge such as eating a a deep fried tarantula. (Nope, send me home!! Lol.) Overall if you enjoy competition based reality TV such as Survivor, Big Brother, House Of Villains, The Challenge, The Goat or Deal or No Deal Island. Then give Battle Camp on Netflix a watch! I give it a solid 7.5/10.
