Queen Puts King in Check at London Series Finale

Now, I know what you are thinking. First, not everyone can be as "Punny" as Mueller was in his Raiders article last week. Second, "Henry had 97 yards and a touchdown, that hardly seems in check." You would be right, however, 68 of those yards came on a chunk gadget play in the second half. Patrick Queen led the ravens in tackles with 9 including 2 assisted and 2 solo on Henry himself.
For those of you that got up 9:30am (Eastern) on Sunday you were treated to a kicking clinic. The 1st quarter saw Justin Tucker lead Nick Folk by a score of 9 to 3. This was a game that saw them go a combined 9 for 9 in field goals. (3-3 for Folk and 6-6 for the goat!)
Lamar got off to an interesting start going 7 for 7 with 100 yards to 7 different pass catchers. Great for Ravens fans, horrible for fantasy owners. Lamar did state after the game "I don't give a dang about y'alls parlays and fantasy teams. We out here trying to win football games." - Lamar Jackson.
In true Ravens form it turned into a tale of 2 halves as a different Baltimore team emerged from the locker room and allowed the Titans to get all the momentum going their way. It was at that moment that NFL Network showed the graphic that since 2001 The Ravens are the worst in the NFL at protecting leads. They have lost the most, having the lead at the half and starting the 4th quarter! (Yay.) In spite of the untimely interception that Lamar threw the Ravens bend but don't break defense was able to hold on and lead the Ravens to a 24-16 win over the Titans. Even with all the AFC North teams that played winning yesterday, that gives the Ravens a slight lead in the division with the Steelers having a bye week.
Now the Ravens take on a super dangerous Lions team. In my pre-season schedule analysis, this game was our first loss. Dan Campbell has Detroit believing and they are all in. The 2 saving grace is that the game is in Baltimore and RB Montgomery may not play due to injury. As we saw with the Jets and Browns both beating previously undefeated teams this week, anything can happen in the NFL. If Lamar can protect the ball, the line protects Lamar and the receivers catch passes I feel like we have a fighting chance against anybody. Should be a hard nosed game next week. Till then.....
