Love Shows Up And Shows No Love

- Rob Crowther, Editor-In-Chief

The Green Bay Packers made their way into AT&T Stadium firing on all cylinders, as the young team upset the number one offense in the league, The Dallas Cowboys. The Pack set all kinds of playoff records for both franchises as well:

- First No. 7 seed to upset No. 2 Seed in Super Wild Card Weekend since expanded playoff field

- Dallas' most allowed points scored in all time playoff history

- Only Home loss this season for the Cowboys

- Most Points allowed by Dallas this Season (48)

- Green Bay tied a playoff record for most points scored in a playoff game (48)

Packers QB, Jordan Love, continued to ride his recent wave of momentum throwing 16 for 20, 272 yards, and three TDs.  RB Aaron Jones was also in top form scoring 3 TDs on 118 yards in 21 carries.

The offense couldn't have played any better, but you have to give the Green Bay defense their due. Making critical third and fourth down stops, especially in the first half. Key interceptions and pick sixes were also critical factors in this game.

Despite a stellar performance in the second half, it was too little, too late for QB Dak Prescott who put the blame on himself simply stating, "I sucked tonight." (Sports IllustratedThat being said, after some odd interactions and miscommunications between Dak and Wide Receiver Lamb in the first half, the duo were able to get things going in the second half. Prescott put up 406 passing yards, 45 Rushing Yards, and three touchdowns. Nevertheless, it was futile.

The Green Bay Packers go on to face a tough 49ers in the next round. It will be interesting to see if this recent wave of momentum will help carry the Pack to a win over one of the best teams in the NFL.
