The undefeated Chargers came into Pittsburgh to face the Undefeated Steelers. Someone’s O has got to go…
Thankfully the Pittsburgh Steelers played their best game of the entire season so far. The Steelers have had, and proved on Sunday, that without a shadow of a doubt they are the best Defense in the entire league., holding the Los Angeles chargers to 10 points. In fact, Pittsburgh has become the first team in the NFL since 2009 to hold their opponents to 10 points or less in the first 3 games of a season.
Like I said Week One, no more disrespect.
I’ve been reading a lot of haters doubting the Pittsburgh Steelers all season so far....
Week 1: “You guys beat the falcons calm down”
"The same Atlanta team that beat The Eagles…."
Philly couldn’t stop them from scoring 22, they got 10 on us and it should have only been 3.
Week 2: “You guys beat The Bronco,s calm down!!”
The same Broncos team who just beat the undefeated Tampa Bay Buccaneers...
Week 3: “You guys will lose since your facing a real team finally”
The Chargers were and are a legitimate test. They have the best rushing offense in the league.
You know what Pittsburgh did to that rushing offense ? Crushed them. The Chargers had -5 yards in the second half. That is not a misprint, that’s a real number.
Steelers defense is averaging 8.6ppg
Week 1: 10
Week 2: 6
Week 3: 10
But enough of talking about the best defense in the entire league, let’s talk about the offense.
We finally scored 20 points for the first time this season. We also have found our franchise QB. I don’t ever wanna hear “ Russ or Fields” ever again. I’ve been saying before the start of the season. It’s Justin. It’s always been Justin. If you are still riding the Russ train just admit your stuck in the past and can’t get over WHAT HE USED TO BE. He’s not that guy anymore, meanwhile Justin is our present and future. Thanks for coming Russ, take your wife and hit the road champ.
Justin’s gives this offense a shot in the arm, he can scramble and make things happen with his legs something, Russ can’t do anymore. This is the best case scenario for Pittsburgh. It’s better to have a young quarterback as our future than a guy that doesn’t have a lot left in the tank.
Our next game is against the colts, in Indiana.
