YAZ's 2025 NFL MOCK DRAFT

- Tyler Yasembousky, Contributor

With the NFL Draft tonight in Green Bay, Wisconsin, I thought I’d share how I see things shaking out at one of the most anticipated events of the off-season. Now keep in mind, I don’t have any inside information. This is all purely my take on how things will play out tonight based on reports and research.

Most of the people that do this sort of thing for a living and make their own mock drafts have Shedeur Sanders falling down the draft boards. I’ll keep this in mind as I make this list….

1. Tennessee Titans select: Cameron Ward - This is a no-brainer. They might as well make it official right now because we all know this is happening. They need a quarterback and he’s the best quarterback from his class.

2. Cleveland Browns select: Travis Hunter - In my opinion he’s the best prospect from this draft. He plays cornerback. He plays wide receiver and he’s pretty good at both. This guy is worthy of being the number one pick overall, but Tennessee needs a quarterback, so he will go to the Browns at 2.

3. New York Giants select: Abdul Carter - Personally this is a guy who I think would be the biggest star from this draft in the future. You can make the argument that the Giants don’t need more help on the edge. But that’s a bad take. You can always use more help on the edge. The more the merrier. Especially for a guy this talented. If he’s there at 3, you take him.

4. New England Patriots select: Will Campbell - the Patriots are in a pretty bad position here. I wouldn't be shocked if they just traded down. Missing out on Hunter and Carter is a nightmare for them. But that’s exactly what I think happens and I think they decided to go with the best Offensive lineman.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars select: Ashton Jeanty - This pick might surprise some people, as most mock drafts have the Jaguars taking a defensive tackle. That very well could happen, but I personally believe they make a splash and decide to go with a guy who they think can help Trevor Lawrence and that offense. A home run hitter at running back makes your offense more valuable and can help take some pressure off Trevor.

6. Las Vegas Raiders select: Will Johnson - This is another spot where I could totally see the Raiders trading down. This would be a disaster for them because they definitely want to get Jeantry. But if they stay at 6, I think they take the best CB available.

7. New York Jets select: Tyler Warren - IF you just look at what happened with the Raiders last year, taking Brock Bowers. It’s obvious how much a great tight end can help your team. The Jets haven’t had a good tight end in years. They change that by going out and picking Tyler Warren.

8. Carolina Panthers select: Jalon Walker - Carolina might potentially go wide receiver here, but I think the value of getting your hands on the best linebacker available will be too hard to pass up.

9. New Orleans Saints select: Shamar Stewart- For the record, I don’t expect the same. I think they will trade down, but since I’m not doing any trades in this mock draft, I have them picking a good edge rusher. Yes, I think they will pass on Sanders. If they trade down, then they might take him.

10. Chicago Bears select: Armand Membou - The Bears definitely want some fire power like Tyler Warren but I don’t think he’ll be there, so instead, I have them picking the best offensive lineman available and trying to protect their quarterback.

11. San Francisco 49ers select: Mason Graham - The best defensive tackle following all the way to 11 might be surprising, but that’s how I see it shaking out.

12. Dallas Cowboys select: Tetairoa McMillan- The Cowboys need a running back. More than that, they need anything. But I think at 10 they’re gonna go and grab the best wide receiver available. Getting another weapon for Dak is not a bad idea. But they have to try and get a running back in the second round.

13. Miami Dolphins select: Jadae Barron - The biggest need for Miami is corner. I think they try to resolve that issue by selecting Barron.

14. Indianapolis Colts select: Coldton Loveland - this is just a perfect fit. They need a tight end and Loveland’s great.

15. Atlanta Falcons select: Mykel Williams - Williams gets to stay in Georgia and play for the Falcons, they need edge help, and he’s the best available.

16. Arizona Cardinals select: Mike Green - Arizona needs help on the defensive side of the ball, especially pass rushers.

17.  Cincinnati Bengals select: Derrick Harmon - The best DT left on the board, they need to use all their picks on defense this year.

18. Seattle Seahawks select: Kelvin Banks Jr. - Seattle has a lot of things set in place but they could use Help on their offensive line, they just paid a quarterback, a bunch of money they need to protect him

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers select: Malaki Starks - Tampa needs help at safety. They select the best safety available.

20. Denver Broncos select: Omarion Hampton - The Broncos go out and get a good running back, this kid could be a stud.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers select: Shedur Sanders - It might surprise a lot of people that he falls this far down, but to be fair, I think it’s possible that the New Orleans Saints might take him if they trade down. If not, I think he lands in Pittsburgh.

22. Los Angeles Chargers select: Matthew Golden - The Chargers wide receiver group is pretty bad, they try to fix this by taking golden.

23. Green Bay Packers select:  Walter Nolan - I think the Packers go with the best defensive tackle available in the spot.

24. Minnesota Vikings select: Nick Emmanwori - The Vikings need help at safety. They go out and get the best remaining one available.

25. Houston Texans select: Josh Simmons- Houston has to improve their offensive line. They took a step backwards this year. They can help remedy that by getting a stronger line.

26. Los Angeles Rams select: Jihadd Campbell - Linebacker is a huge need for LA. I think this is the perfect fit.

27. Baltimore Ravens select: Tyler Booker - The first offensive guard finally gets picked. This is a big team need for Baltimore.

28. Detroit Lions select: Grey Zabel - A second offensive guard gets taken immediately. Now it’s very likely they might take an edge here. But personally, I think they need to get guard help more.

29. Washington Commanders select: Nic Scourton - DC has made it perfectly clear that they are going edge rusher here. I think Nic personally fits their defense the best.

30. Buffalo bills select: Emeka Egbuka - The Bills missed a huge opportunity last year by not taking a wide receiver.  I don’t think they make that same mistake again.

31. Kansas City Chiefs select: James Pearce Jr. - KC has a couple needs but you can’t pass on Pearce here, especially because if you don’t take him, Philadelphia will.

32. Philadelphia Eagles select: Donovan Ezeiruaku - Eagles go edge rusher and they get one who fits their defense perfectly
