Winless, The Renegades Aren't Panicking Just Yet

The Arlington Renegades are in a situation similar to their 2023 XFL season, after dropping their 4th straight game to The Houston Roughnecks. Speaking in an April 24th media call, QB Luis Perez expressed that while emotions are high, it's important that the Renegades focus on play after play, and lean on each other.

Head Coach Bob Stoops also expressed that, "Our backs are against the wall."  The duo, who led the Renegades to the 2023 XFL Championship after a 4-6 season, find themselves in familiar territory. Even though they are facing a very good San Antonio Brahmas team this Saturday, they remain confident that they can turn their season around.

Perez noted that even though San Antonio is a good team, they've been in close games this season with the likes of Birmingham and St. Louis, who both lead their divisions. He also noted that a win on Saturday would put them right back in the mix.

Game Notes:

1. Saturday Night's Game Will Be the Third Meeting of all time Between Arlington and San Antonio

2. The Renegades have a 1-1 overall record against The Brahmas, with the prior matchups taking place during the 2023 XFL Regular Season.

3. Arlington Defeated San Antonio by a score of 12-10 in week five at the Alamodome. The following week, The Brahmas got their revenge with a 15-9 victory over The Renegades at Choctaw Stadium.

4. The In-State Conference Rivals will face off again this season in Week Eight.
