RAVENS WIN ONE THE HARD WAY

Once, just once as a Ravens fan I would like to breathe easy. I would love to look at a 2 or 3 score lead in the 2nd half, and say to myself,  "Self, We got this one. You can relax!" Yet I never can!

In the past 4 seasons, the Ravens have lost 10 games when they were up by 7 or more points heading into the 4th quarter! 10 times we have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory! That's over 15% of our games, we blew in the 4th quarter.

 

Now, in spite of that, we did get our first win this season. We defeated Dallas 28 - 25. That score does not reflect the overall dynamic of that game. We finally found a plan that worked and, I don't know... stuck to it!? 274 rushing yards and 3 TDs. That's Ravens football! Unfortunately, (in case it comes up on final jepardy) we also became the first team to give up an onside kick under the new "Dynamic Rules"! What does that mean? The Cowboys had to tell us they were onside kicking. They basically had to disclose the area of the field, the player they were kicking to, the height, speed and spin amount they were putting on the ball and yet... they still GOT it! Sadly... that also is... Ravens Football! 

 

So now we have the Bills at home on Sunday Night Football! Did you see what they just did to Jacksonville? When Allen is hot, he's HOT! Let's see which Ravens team shows up to play the game, and most importantly, which Ravens team takes the field in the 4th quarter!
